If yes, you are probably eligible to receive full public coverage of all prescribed medicines that are listed on the Manitoba Drug Benefits and Interchangeability Formulary after you pay a deductible that is calculated based on your family income. The deductible rate increases as income increases. The minimum deductible is $100.
Note – You can determine your deductible by completing an online form. Your deductible can also be adjusted if your family's income decreases by more than 10% in a calendar year (January to December).
The formulary is available publicly, and it is possible to search it by inputting the name of the medication to see if it is covered.
