The CSPA frequently produces special reports on the experiences of specific skin, hair, and nail patient communities. By better understanding patients’ experiences in Canada, we can identify ways to address the many challenges that skin patients face.
These reports are developed by a team that includes people with lived experience of the condition, a dermatologist with expertise in the specific condition, the CSPA, and often one of our Affiliate Member organizations that focuses on that condition.
We appreciate the time and attention that skin patients take when filling out the surveys that form the basis of these reports.
We share these reports with policy makers in Canada and use this evidence regularly in our advocacy work. We believe that if our policymakers really could understand what it feels like to live with a skin condition, they could and would make decisions that would positively affect our lives.
