However, if you are you a multiple sclerosis patient being treated at the Dalhousie Multiple Sclerosis Research Unit and covered by a private plan, you may be able to receive public assistance with your plan’s patient co-payments (minus a processing fee equal to the cost of the professional fee charged by your pharmacist). In addition, once you reach the maximum of your private plan, any additional patient charges may be covered publicly (minus a processing fee). For more details, see the NS Pharmacy Guide.
