- a child of a family who is receiving the NS Child Benefit or is being supported by the province due to intellectual and physical disabilities or long-term mental illness?
If yes, you should be eligible to receive full public coverage of all prescribed medicines that are listed on the Nova Scotia Formulary after the payment of a $5.00 (per prescription) co-payment. This co-payment is waived for beneficiaries who are disabled or require more than three monthly prescriptions. The formulary is available online and is updated regularly.
